In the Classroom

Pre-Experience (Things to Look Out For):

  • What are the different quadrants in an XY-plane?

  • How are 0 and 360 degrees similar in terms of where an arrow points to?

  • Infer what reference and coterminal angles are based off their names.

Post-Experience (Things to Think About):

  • Can reference angles be negative?

  • Can reference angles be above 90 degrees?

  • Can you find the relationship among the four reference angles of a certain degree?

  • How can you determine whether two angles are coterminal angles?

  • Given an angle, how many angles are there that are coterminal to it?
